Golden Group Roofing focuses on excellence with updated training

As part of their commitment to being the best local residential roofing company in the Greater Boston area, Golden Group once again paused their daily operations to provide a weeklong intensive training program for their entire team. Going above and beyond the training requirements for the roofing industry, Golden Group invests annually in a 5-day intensive in March. They also attend another 3-day training program in August for the entire team.

Although Golden Group operates with a fully trained crew all year round, we pause each March to gather the entire company together for an entire week of paid training to ensure a smooth and productive season of excellent craftsmanship and customer service.

We kick off the week reviewing safety standards and review the courses provided by OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration). The safety of our crew and our customers is of the utmost importance, and a comprehensive review keeps the entire team on the same page.

After we have completed the safety portion of the week, we review the on site expectations and operations of our projects.  As a team, we can identify areas of improvement with new technology and protocols.  These sessions give the entire crew a voice in the collaborative enhancement of our existing procedures.

Lastly, we host intensive technical educational sessions with guest trainers sent from the manufacturers.  During these sessions, they review all of the specs, installations, guidelines, and benefits of the premium products used by Golden Group Roofing.  

This is an excellent opportunity to train the crew on the latest advances and technologies being offered in the industry today, as well as review any updates to building code. Everyone on the team receives the same extensive training and knowledge, with an eye towards excellence in craftsmanship.

Fall roofing season training held each August

After months of a vigorous busy season with full roof replacements, roof repairs, and home siding replacements, Golden Group also plans an annual 3-day training program each August to prepare the crew for the fall season.

This end-of-summer training session gives the entire company a chance to pause operations and regroup. During this session, the team will look for areas of optimization. We review any technology or product advances released during the spring or summer, and adjust their project plans and operations for the shorter daylight and cooler temps coming up in the fall.

New roofing certifications in IronRidge Solar as of 2023

As technology advances, so do we. Our team knows that homeowners want to take advantage of stronger, lighter, more eco-friendly and efficient materials, so we invest in training in the latest roofing products available.

Golden Group Roofing is pleased to announce that we are now certified for IronRidge Solar roof solar mounts. We will complete our training at IronRidge’s onsite program next month. We’re excited to share this new option with Massachusetts customers this spring and summer.
